Clearer Channel Online Video and Training

ClearerChannel is a project which encourages social and personal change. We're mutating from an online video project to a wider community based organisation which does a lot of things but mainly the following.

  • Helping viewers to download and transmit video for social change
  • Helping video makers distribute what they make
  • Training in citizen journalism

Have a look at the latest Videos, the groups involved, and the topics we cover.

Currently Video on Web, and hand-to-hand Cdrom and DVD distribution is a valuable source of content for community screenings, activist meetings, displays, workshops etc.

Cost has been the barrier to wide scale distribution. Now with services like youtube, and google video everyone is putting up content on the web for free. But it's important for video groups to keep control of their information. Of course we can't ignore these corporate tools. Let's use and abuse them. The new frontline is networking and strategy.
